Oh, how strong it is, dear readers Á?? the urge to uncork the vast
reserves of withering sarcasm possessed by your intrepid theater
correspondent to describe the loony show currently on stage at the
Coterie Theatre.
OPRAH says that it's good to keep a GRATITUDE JOURNAL and to write
down, every day, five things for which we are grateful. And so I'd
like to kick off this blog area by doing just that.
When I was in fourth or fifth grade, our class watched a video
about Machu Picchu. The traditional Andean music with the pure
flute seemed to piece through my soul. I didn't understand why, but
thought maybe my Mexican heritage made me sensitive to indigenous
music.
Whenever I?m booked on a night flight, and especially during
Halloween season, I make sure to request a seat away from the
window. Fans of the "Twilight Zone" TV series know why. It?s
because of that classic and often-spoofed episode from 1963 titled
"Nightmare at 20,000 Feet". In that segment, a jittery passenger
played by William Shatner...
